Welcome Principal Kendrick!


 WILMETTE, Ill., July 12, 2017— Saint Joseph School, a Roman Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Chicago, has announced it has hired Michael Kendrick as its new principal. Mr. Kendrick assumed his position on July 1 and will lead the school beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year. “I’m honored to be a part of the rich history and deep tradition of St. Joseph School,” said Mr. Kendrick. “I look forward to leading this excellent school to new heights and working with
our parents and local leaders to contribute further to this vibrant community.” Kendrick was previously High School Athletic Director and the Middle School and High School Dean of Students at St. Benedict Prep in Chicago. Before becoming an educational administrator, Mr. Kendrick taught science at Northridge Preparatory School in Niles. He is a graduate of Hillsdale College, where he also played NCAA DII football. Recently, Mr. Kendrick completed his Master of Education at North Park
University. He is currently attending Loyola University, working to achieve a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. He resides in Evanston with his wife and son.
