Susan Roer

Mrs. Roer began her career teaching young children in 1997. Her vast experience and accreditations include Early Childhood, Infant/Toddlers and Special Education.   She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Golden Corridor Association for the Education of Young Children where she serves on the Nominations Committee.

Mrs. Roer joined the St. Joseph School community in spring of 2013 as a teacher’s assistant for Kindergarten and also provided Language Arts support for the 2nd grade.  She states, “I am so happy to be part of St. Joseph School.  I feel that it was God’s plan to lead me here where there is a wonderful sense of family, love and community.”

Mother to three grown children, Mrs. Roer lives in Arlington Heights with her husband, Mark.  In her spare time she often found reading, golfing, or spending time with her grandson.
