Mrs. McCaleb received an MA in Education from National Louis University and her BA from the University of Michigan. Growing up in Connecticut, she attended St. Mary High School in Greenwich.
Mrs. McCaleb has been the computer instructor at St. Joseph School since 2004. The technology curriculum she teaches is a combination of learning necessary skills (such as keyboarding and word processing) and enhancing classroom lessons with technology.
Prior to St. Joseph School, Mrs. McCaleb worked as a preschool teacher for several years and, while working on her Masters in Education, she student taught at Willard School in Evanston. She also was a pharmaceutical representative for ten years but her love of working with children brought her to the education field.
In addition to her superior computer skills, Mrs. McCaleb is fluent in Italian and also knows Spanish and French, having lived in Italy for a year and Paris one summer.
Married with two daughters, Mrs. McCaleb also has a cat and a dog. She loves to run, bike, swim and read.
