Mrs. McCaleb received an MA in Education from National Louis University and her BA from the University of Michigan. Growing up in Connecticut, she attended St. Mary High School in Greenwich.
Starting in the 2018-19 school year, Mrs. McCaleb will transition to being the 5th grade teacher. Mrs. McCaleb will be working with the 5th grade students to prepare them for the rigors of Junior High and using her technology background to provide an excellent learning experience. Mrs. McCaleb was the computer instructor at St. Joseph School from 2004-2018.
Prior to St. Joseph School, Mrs. McCaleb worked as a preschool teacher for several years and, while working on her Masters in Education, she student taught at Willard School in Evanston. She also was a pharmaceutical representative for ten years but her love of working with children brought her to the education field.
In addition to her superior computer skills, Mrs. McCaleb is fluent in Italian and also knows Spanish and French, having lived in Italy for a year and Paris one summer.
Married with two daughters, Mrs. McCaleb also has a cat and a dog. She loves to run, bike, swim and read.
