Mrs. Breen holds a BS in Business Management from West Virginia Wesleyan College and an MBA from the University of Dayton, graduating with cum laude honors from both. Her employment history includes working nearly twenty years for AT&T in various capacities.
Mrs. Breen is an integral part of St. Joseph’s teaching staff. In addition to helping out with writing, math and reading in many of the Primary Grades’ classrooms, she is also invaluable in the teaching of art to the younger students. In 2011, she introduced to the Kindergarten classes, Project 64, an art-based drawing program that builds fine motor skills.
After having left the workforce to care for her growing family, Mrs. Breen began substitute teaching at St. Joseph in 2005. This period was followed by permanent employment initially as a Preschool aide and subsequently as the Kindergarten aide.
Mrs. Breen resides in Wilmette with her three children, Jim, Maria and Grace, all of whom have attended St. Joseph School since they were two. When not teaching, she actively supports each of their various sports and hobbies.
