St Joseph School Junior Kindergarten Program provides a Catholic, curricular-based, student-centered approach to learning. Our program helps children develop social, emotional, physical, and academic skills in a relaxed, loving atmosphere. The Junior Kindergarten program is a partnership between school and home, and because this stage in children's lives is crucial, it provides a bridge between preschool and kindergarten.

In a Catholic school, religious development is of primary importance to us. It will be approached simply and relative to the child's life and development. For instance, children will learn short prayers to be said at meals and group times. Values are cultivated in a child not only through direct teaching, but also through modeling in everyday situations and activities.
