Junior High School

Beginning in seventh grade and continuing through eighth, students follow a rigorous curriculum in Religion, Language Arts/Literature, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Music, Art, Physical Education and Spanish. Computers are integrated into the curriculum and high school preparation is a focus. Students rotate between classrooms for different subjects.

In Junior High, the philosophy of St. Joseph School continues to emphasize that learning is integrated, experiential, value-based and a foundation for continued and life-long learning. Learning is designed to promote the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth of each unique child. Junior High students at St. Joseph School are model citizens for the entire school and accept many leadership roles. With smaller classes and individualized attention, our students are well prepared for and excel in high school.

Catholic eighth graders prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
