Bus Transportation

Bus service is available through the Public School District #39 for students who reside within the district. District 39 bus transportation is designed to offer safe, reliable, efficient, and economical service.

Registering for bus transportation must be done directly with District 39. Bus forms and handbook are linked here for your convenience:

Safety is a primary concern, and each student's behavior while on the bus should reflect the principles of mutual respect and cooperation. Any behavior that creates a problem in terms of safety may result in a forfeiture of bus riding privileges.

In order to qualify for transportation reimbursement from the state, you must either live 1 1/2 miles away from school or live less than 1 1/2 miles from school and need to pass a safety hazard to get to school. To qualify for the safety hazard, you must have filed the proper form with the state by February 1. Filing of this form is good for three years. To file for reimbursement, come to the school office and sign the state form.
