Four members of the Lee Family - Kathryn (Kaye) Lee Hunter, Jim '66, Mary Lee Roche 68, Margaret (Margie) Lee Carrick '69 - graduated from St Joe's. Younger sibling Janie Lee Larson attended until Spring of 1969. Youngest sister, Carolyn, attended grade school in Northbrook. I think I can speak for all of us when I say it is so great to have St Joe's open again! When I went to my 25th anniversary reunion, in so many ways, it felt like I was back in school. This grade school reunion was SO much better then any high school reunions could be. We were all so close growing up and attending St Joe's. Jim, Mary, Margie and Janie have stayed in the Chicago area the whole time growing up, getting married, having kids, etc. Hope to hear from more alumni from this time period.

Jenni Grimes '84 married Dan O'Brien on June 7, 2008 in Ireland.

Edgar Sensi '70 is currently living in Jupiter, Florida with his son, Francesco. Despite having lived in New York City, Rome (Italy), Connecticut and Florida over the past 35 years, Ed has maintained his best-friend relationship with Lawrence Messina, also class '70. They met at the bus stop the first day of Kindergarten in 1961 and have remained friends ever since! Larry lives in nearby Lake Worth, Florida with his wife, Brenda, and their two children: Andrew and Lauren. Their two sons are now best friends and Ed is Lauren's godfather. Larry still teases Ed that he has been pining away for Maureen O'Connor ('70) ever since first grade! Ed & Larry would like to hear from other classmates: esensi@bigfive.com and larry@glander.net.

Actor Bill Murray. Below is an excerpt from a recent interview by Bill Murray in the Washington Post, Dec 24, 2004. What's made him happy, lately? was the question he was asked: "I went to the reunion of my grade school graduating class," Murray says. "Not the high school reunion, which is a whole different thing, but grade school. St. Joe's. These are the people that I was a little kid with. And nothing's really changed. You go and you really feel happy to have grown up and be alive and you really feel just completely like yourself. That was one of the greatest times I've ever had, seriously, just being with those people again. Not talking about work or anything. Talking about our kids . ."

Brian C. Donovan, 1962. Four Donovan's attended St. Joe's in the 1950's and early 1960's (Denny, John, Brian and Nancy). I graduated in 1962. Our family moved out of the area in 1963. I graduated from John Carroll in Cleveland in 1970. My wife (Connie) is a professor at Roosevelt Univ. We have been married for 35 years; two children. We returned to the Chicago area in 1982 after spending time in Cleveland, Oklahoma City and Pittsburgh. I am president of an insurance company and my office is in Arlington Heights. I also own a golf store in Prescott, Arizona and Connie and I are beginning to spend extended time at our home out there. Since four Donovan's attended the same school, we have some of the same memories. We all remember Sr. Gregoire as either our teacher or Principal. I remember it was hard to keep a low profile after two older brothers with the same last name has gone before me. Interestingly, I met her once again in 1983 when enrolling my kids into St. Mary's in Buffalo Grove. Please keep me informed of any reunion plans for the class of 1962.
