Discipline
and Values
Our faculty and staff members are models of Christian
values, and St. Joseph School students benefit from disciplined
work habits and a thirst for learning that stays with them through
their entire lives.
Catholic Faith
Our balanced approach develops the mind, body and soul.
In the vivid Catholic faith tradition, we advocate mutual respect
and support. Students develop a strong sense of community, belonging
and self-confidence.
Exceptional
Programs
The rich learning environment that begins in preschool
continues in the elementary school with the highly acclaimed full-day
kindergarten program. We provide our students with a full academic
program that includes math, reading, language arts, social studies,
science, foreign language, computers, physical education, art,
music, and religion. For the 2005 school year, the school will
be opening a new computer lab to advance learning and drive academic
excellence through the usage of integrated technology. View the
Academics section of this site for
curriculum guides and more information about curriculum and academic
programs.
Extracurricular
Activities
We also offer a broad array of after-school athletic and other
enrichment programs, including Catholic School League volleyball
& basketball, Band, Scouting, Young Rembrandt's Art program,
Chess Club, Student Council and park district athletics. Learn
more about Extracurricular Activities in the Student's
